Wildflowers 2025 Retreat

“Now when I attend retreats, it’s simply to be in the company of friends who share a deep love of truth, and to rest. Not to strive. Not to effort. Not to gain.”

Here’s what you can expect at this year’s Wildflowers retreat…

  • The chance to be with other Wildflowers Community members in person,

  • A structured itinerary with plenty of free and rest time,

  • A venue that has easy access to nature and pleasant weather (not too hot or cold),

  • A venue and agenda of activities that allows for the most financially accessible retreat possible, without sacrificing your comfort.

2025 Retreat Breakdown:

When: November 7-9, 2025 (with the option to stay a 3rd night for a minimal fee)

Registration Process:

This year's process for registration will involve an application period from November 7th to December 7th, and include a short interview with me.

Application forms are due on November 21st.

Please note that this is not a "screening" interview, but rather an opportunity for each participant to share their questions, needs and preferences directly with me, as well as for me to share more details about the retreat and to help guide a thoughtful, informed and warm registration process for the gathering.

Interviews will be scheduled on a first come, first served basis and if maximum occupancy is reached, there will be a waitlist.

What if I can’t afford the retreat cost?

Given the limited capacity and resources of the business, I am unable to offer scholarships for the retreat at this time. However, if you are very interested in attending, and the retreat fee is just out of reach for you financially, I encourage you to apply to be on the waitlist. Cancellations may provide an opportunity for another participant to attend at a lower retreat fee.

What if I am not sure about leaving my family for several nights?

This year the retreat will last 2 nights in order to reduce the time that you have to spend away from family, with a 3rd night option for those who would like an extra day to rest in nature and good company. If you feel strongly torn about attending for any reason, this may not be the year for you. Before filling out an application, I suggest that you schedule a call where you can get some Listening Time, and also where you can share your concerns or questions with me.

Will there be alcohol?

Alcohol will not be provided with meals nor will it be allowed during the retreat.

What if I can’t plan that far ahead because of my work or other circumstances?

If you would like to attend but are unable to plan this far in advance, I encourage you to apply and please let me know of your circumstances so we can include you on the waitlist. In order for the retreat to move forward, I need 6 people to confirm sooner than later, so please only use this option if your inability to plan ahead has to do with factors out of your control.

What if I feel nervous about meeting other community members in person?

Every year, everyone has felt a little bit nervous about meeting either the people they have known online for several years, or others in the community that they have never met at all, in person. If this is how you are feeling too, it makes sense! I do schedule a few calls leading up to the event, as an opportunity for all retreat registrants to virtually meet, do listening time, and connect prior to meeting in person.

I’m having mixed feelings about attending the retreat, and/or I am not sure if I would feel comfortable attending.

If you feel strongly torn about attending, and/or have any major reservations coming up for you around this event, this may not be the year for you. However, as with anything else, I would invite you to bring some of your feelings and thoughts to me by scheduling an appointment here. I will be glad to listen, as well as address any questions or concerns that you are having.

What exactly will we be doing?

Previous itineraries have included reflection and sharing activities, Special Time, Listening Time and plenty of free time in between. For this next retreat, the venue will have easy access to nature as well. Also this time around, I will be attending the retreat for Hand In Hand Instructors during the summer prior to our retreat, and hope to bring some new ideas from there as well.

What are the expectations for shared labor (cooking, cleaning, etc.)?

Retreat participants will only be responsible for maintaining any common and shared spaces relatively decluttered. You will not be expected to prepare or clean up after meals, you do enough of this at home!
